How we handle
personal information from inquiries.
This notice explains the information Vaunt handles when you contact us. It is an English translation; if it differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.
What we collect and why
We use the name, email address and message you enter in the contact form to reply to your inquiry, understand what you are asking and contact you about it. For a first inquiry, please do not enter confidential information, business documents containing personal data, or credentials.
Google Forms
We receive inquiries through Google Forms. When you choose “Continue to the form”, the form provided by Google is loaded. We receive what you enter through Google Forms and use it to review your inquiry. For how Google handles information in providing the service, see Google’s Privacy Policy.
How we manage information
We handle the information only as far as needed to respond to your inquiry and take care to manage it properly. Except where required by law or in similar cases, we do not provide it to third parties beyond the purpose of responding to you without your consent.
Display settings, language and demos
If you explicitly choose light or dark mode, this site stores that choice in your browser. You can clear it with “Use device setting” in the footer.
If you choose a language with the JP / EN switch at the top of the page, we store your choice in a cookie (named lang, kept for one year) and use it on later visits. Until you choose, we show the Japanese or English version based on your browser’s language setting and the approximate country our content delivery provider infers from your IP address. The result of that check is not stored.
What you do on the demo pages is neither sent anywhere nor saved; reloading the page resets it.
Analytics
To improve the site, we use Google Analytics (GA4), provided by Google. Using cookies, it aggregates the pages viewed, referring sites, approximate region, device and browser type, and the inquiry topic chosen on the contact page. Your name, email address and anything you enter or do in the form or on the demo pages are not sent. Google signals and ad personalization are turned off.
The data collected is managed under Google’s Privacy Policy. For details, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can stop collection with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
